Competitions are a great way to get feedback on improving your beer. You also earn points towards brewer of the year! We encourage all of our brewers to enter competitions as it is a way to strengthen our club as a national competitor in the home brewing scene.
Throughout the year, there will be many competitions. Some Red Earth organized, like the annual Spring Brew Off, and some organized by others. In recent years, Red Earth has done somewhere in the neighborhood of 4 competitions. Other competitions that are close during the year are Bluebonnet (in Texas), Tulsa State Fair, and F.O.A.M. Cup. Additionally, there are these national huge competitions: National Homebrew Competition (NHC) and Masters Championship of Amateur Brewing (MCAB).
We are here to help you succeed in every way possible, so please do not hesitate to ask questions, and enter your brews! Good luck!
